The new face of the RI Web site

The new RI site is up; some appears to still be in developing stage, and it is a little slow at this time, but looks and seems to be much easier to get around than the old one.

Over the past year, R.I. Staffs have worked to streamline our Web experience while building a site that can accommodate future growth. As we'll notice, the menu been drastically simplified, allowing for faster browsing. In addition, they've added several new features:

An easy-to-read Club Locator
Related documents
A tool that changes a page's font size
An improved search function

The new site has undergone considerable structural changes, which involved consolidating and adding sections and moving pages. As a result, some links to old pages may not work. We've created automatic jump, or reference, links from old to new pages to help those who have bookmarked their favorite sections. Nonetheless, everyone should update their bookmarks to reflect the new URLs.

The improvements to the Web site are designed to help people quickly find all the information and resources that RI offers online. In the future, more tools will be added to assist Rotarians in putting Service Above Self.
