Rtns David Lee and Albert Tseng shared their good and not-so-good experience.

David Lee, our newest Club member, made his classification speech on February 19, 2008. Many people have the mis-conception that architects build structures. In fact, architects design structures according to the requirements of their clients, within the boundaries of engineering science, and the legal framework. Being a professional architect for 40 years, David shared his most rejoicing moment when an owner, unknown to him before, appeared at his office to give him a sizable job. Later he learned that the owner, after extensive research, had chosen him. The career of an architect is not always enjoyable. Professional liability could get in the way to make an architect's life pretty stressful.

Albert Tseng's experience in Shanghai, China is equally interesting. We are all aware that China has a huge population. Albert actually felt it when he tried to get out of the Shanghai Airport during a snow storm around Chinese New Year time. This was an experience he will not forget.
