Down Home Lobster Night!

Elgin Duke, a member of the North Delta Rotary Club continues to show his kindness whenever he shows up at our meetings. During our last meeting, he presented us with four tickets to one of their own club event which is called Down Home Lobster Night.
The lobster fair is a dinner with a silent auction to help support the North Delta Rotary Charities. These four tickets were presented to our President, Harrison Lin and his wife and the other two were for our club members as a gift. Tony was hesitant in receiving these tickets as a gift so he offered to pay for them. Unfortunately, Tony and his wife cannot attend together, therefore, Tony and his generousity gave us an opportunity to auction for the ticket less than the ticket price. Each ticket was worth $75 dollars and one ticket was sold to Alice Wu for $25. What a bargain! The total of $175 will proceed to our club. Alice would like to give her deepest gratuity to Elgin and Tony. She would truely treasure and enjoy this opportunity to join them at the lobster fair which will be held on Saturday, June 3rd.
