If you think artists are either dull or cool, try to meet Kenneth Hsieh and let him change your opinion.

Speaker--- Kenneth
Not in a concert hall or in a theatre, our encounter with Kenneth Hsieh on May 8, 2007 took place in the usual hotel meeting room. But his presentation brought a lot of luster and liveliness to those present. Young and confident, his speech flowed smoothly and waltzed through his childhood and the pursuit for music at UBC and Japan.

He believed his job as Assistant Conductor at VSO is to relay his understanding and passion for music to people. Effective communication requires a lot of skills and compromise. This is something he really likes and excels.

Kenneth Hsieh's last performance with the VSO will be in July, after which he will be taking on new responsibilities in Japan.

 We all wish him well.
