A History Lesson

Where is the Middle East? Why are those countries in the centre of the world called "Middle East"? Are hopes or solutions imminent for the places torn by the turmoil of war and social instability? Simon Tseng from Richmond Library gave a very brief but comprehensive background to the religion, politics and economics of the Middle East.

The Middle East is never a simple issue. However, Mr. Tseng has made it easier for many of us to approach the issues from perspectives that we have not thought of before. Thank you, Mr. Tseng.
